The MSPA Lite Alpine Portable Spa is a great, inexpensive hot tub that you can take with you. If you move frequently, or can’t add a permanent hot tub to your yard, this is a fantastic alternative.
You might even prefer this over one of the more permanent spas. It has all kinds of features that will rival those more expensive spas, too.
Features of the MSPA Lite Alpine Portable Spa
- LED control panel
- Built-in heater
- Quiet motor
- 108 air jets
- Seats 4 people
LED Control Panel
There’s a control panel that can be accessed right from the tub. The control panel has a few different controls. It’s how you inflate the tub as well as how it’s filled with water. It has a heater button that will control the temperature of the water as well as a filter button. That filter button will start the filtration system.
To turn on the jets, you’ll use the button that looks like a bubble. It’ll operate for 20 minutes before shutting itself down automatically. All of the functions of the hot tub are within easy reach, which is great in an inflatable hot tub option.
It also has safety measures to ensure that nobody will change the heat or the bubbles. When unattended, press the up and down arrows at the same time to lock the panel.
The interior of the hot tub can be used by more than one person. In fact, it can be used by you as well as your significant other and another couple. You could invite 3 random family members or friends to join you in the tub. It’s great that you can invite so many people to enjoy the water with you.
You won’t be cramped in the hot tub, either. There’s no dedicated seating, so you can easily find a position and jets that work for you. If you want to cuddle close with your love, you can share many of the same air jets. There are over 100 of them in the hot tub.
The motor for blowing up the hot tub as well as the one that blows air through the jets is very quiet. It won’t disturb conversation or be too loud in the backyard.
Neighbors won’t complain about the motor on your hot tub. Plus, you want to relax. You don’t want to spend your time listening to the loud workings of a motor.
The heater is built into the hot tub. That’s a pretty good deal for an inflatable tub. If you don’t have a heater for your hot tub, you’re basically sitting in a cold pool of water.
That’s not going to have the relaxation and therapeutic benefits of a spa. It would end up being a cold bath that would actually cause you to shiver.
The built-in heater means that you can get all the benefits of a hot water soak. You can also use the hot tub on a cool night. Even a summer day will have cool nights where you can soak in the hot tub enjoying the heat and bubbling air jets.
The heat ranges from 68 degrees F to 104 degrees F. That’s a great range, and one you’d get with any expensive hot tub or spa. It takes some time to heat the huge spa filled with water, so keep that in mind when you’re trying to heat it. It’ll only rise in temperature approximately 2 degrees per hour.
Rhino-Tech PVC Material
When you have an inflatable pool or hot tub, it needs to be strong. You don’t want to end up with a hole in the material.
It requires a material that will actually be reinforced to stand up to the sun’s UV rays as well as any scrapes from being outdoors.
It’s likely that you’ll have kids out there playing, and you won’t want to hover over them or the spa to ensure it doesn’t get ripped.
The exterior of the hot tub is made from a reinforced PVC material. It’s Rhino-Tech with 6 layers.
Even if you get a slight scratch in a layer or two, it would have to be a super deep gouge to cause the material to rip completely. This is certainly a heavy-duty material that can stand up to many outdoor conditions.
The MSPA Lite Alpine Portable Spa can be set up anywhere in the backyard. You might need to lay down a bit of a foundation to keep the hot tub evenly sitting on the grass. It’s not necessary, though.
This is a great portable spa with its own LED control panel, over 100 air jets, and built-in heater. You don’t even have to buy a pump. This inflatable hot tub will inflate itself with the heater.
